I've only used dermatologist recommended skin care since I was 26 (I'm 48 now) and I have to tell you that I'm glad I did. My skin still feels wonderful and I still stick to my 'magic' products. I read positive and ambivalent reviews of products and wonder how long term use works for people. I have used a skin care line for 22 years. I am 46 and I can't tell you how many people are surprised that I'm not in my 30s which they have supposed. I count part of that to the products I use and the way I use them. I remember when I was a teenager a woman selling an eye cream in a department store make the ridiculous claim that if women started using eye creams at age 14 that they would NEVER get wrinkles. Of course, that isn't true, but what can people reasonably expect if they use high quality products for most of their lives? My daughter is a teenager and I've started her on good skin care from the same line I use. She sees and feels a benefit and I'm happy that we both enjoy our products.
